The Lakes
The Lakes is a master-planned community situated in Lake Country, BC. It is a unique offering for the 1250 homes that will complete the neighbourhood. The Lakes is the ideal balance of nature, community and serenity, featuring its own lake, complete with waterfall and surrounded by lush green space and play area. Meticulously planned walking trails interconnect, providing access to surrounding parks and scenic viewpoints.
Built-Rite Homes was proud to be the first builder to break ground in The Lakes development in 2005. Since then we have completed construction on over 50 homes. We chose this area to build our homes for the following reasons:
Location - The Lake Country region is geographically situated in a very favourable location, half-way between Kelowna and Vernon with easy highway access to either city, and about 12 minutes to the Kelowna International Airport and University of British Columbia (Okanagan Campus). Gray Monk winery, one of the Okanagan's finest wineries, is located nearby as well as Lake Okanagan, Wood Lake, and Kalamalka Lake.
Setting - A rural setting which includes mountains, lakes, golf courses, vineyards, orchards and walking trails. Need we say more?
The Developer - The Okanagan Land Development Corporation has been involved in a range of high end developments in the Okanagan and beyond. They know how it's done and have made it happen!
